At Viva Studio Rentals, the photography studio rental includes the stage, pre-lit cyc, listed equipment and support rooms. Compare the package with your shoot plan, and use the studio planning guides for more booking checks.
Base studio package
The base package includes four Aputure Nova P300c lights, six C-Stands, ten sound blankets, apple boxes, tables and chairs. Additional equipment is billed separately through Viva Camera.
Stage, cyc, and support rooms
Review the studio gallery before booking, then check the room in person. The 2,000 sq ft stage is 45 × 40 ft with an 18 ft ceiling, a grid at 13.5 ft, and a 25 × 25 ft pre-lit white cyc. The facility also includes a 200 sq ft hair and makeup room, 200 sq ft green room, and 1,000 sq ft flex space.
Equipment supplied by the production
Bring or rent your cameras, lenses, props, surfaces and any extra backdrop materials. Arrange audio equipment and crew if the shoot needs them. Check each item against the base package before booking.
Load-in and site access
The studio has a 4 ft truck-height loading dock, an 8 × 10 ft door, WiFi, and free parking. Measure the largest item and confirm its route to the stage during a Tech Scout.
Audio planning
If you are recording dialogue as well as taking photos, plan an audio check. Viva is sound-treated, not soundproof. Test microphones and outside noise during a Tech Scout.
Cyc repaint add-ons
The pre-lit cyc is white. A $300 Floor Refresh or $1,000 Full Colour Swap is available as an add-on, before HST. Ask about repaint timing when booking.
Booking window and support
Viva books one production per day. The production receives full and undivided use of the 4,500 sq ft facility during its booked window, plus direct access to a studio and equipment manager.
What to confirm during a Tech Scout
Bring the shot list and equipment list to the Tech Scout. Check the set layout, load-in route, audio needs and any repainting or separate rentals.
