The soundstage, the 25×25 ft pre-lit cyc, the house lighting and grip package, green room, hair and makeup room, flex and staging space, craft and prep area, two kitchens, a client lounge, WiFi, parking, dock-level load-in, and on-site support.
No. Those are part of the room, not add-ons. The only separate quotes are optional gear from Viva Camera or a custom request like a cyc repaint.
Yes. Tech scouts are free, appointment-based, and take about 30 minutes. Bring your DP, producer, gaffer, or whoever has to sign off on the room. Book a tech scout.
The space
08 questionsViva Studios is a 4,000 sq ft production facility with a 2,000 sq ft sound-treated soundstage (45 × 40 ft floor), a 25×25 ft pre-lit cyc wall, and 18 ft ceilings with the lighting grid at 13.5 ft.
A cyclorama, or cyc, is a seamless curved backdrop wall: the floor sweeps into the wall with no corner, so the background reads as infinite on camera. Some studios call it an infinity cove. Viva Studios’ cyclorama is 25×25 ft, pre-lit, and included in every rental at no extra charge.
Yes. The cyc ships white. A Floor Refresh is $300, and a Full Colour Swap paints the whole wall your colour for $1,000, chroma key green included. Send the colour with your booking and we will prep it before your call.
Yes. The 25×25 ft cyc paints chroma key green as a Full Colour Swap for $1,000, prepped before your call time. That gives you a seamless green wall-and-floor sweep for keying, compositing, and VFX plates.
No. Viva Studios has no LED wall, video wall, or virtual production volume. For composite work, the cyc paints chroma key green; for in-camera looks, you have the pre-lit cyc, full blackout, and the house lighting package.
No. The stage is sound-treated, not soundproof. The 2,000 sq ft stage is treated for clean production audio and blacks out fully, and you get it to yourself: one production per day.
Four 15A circuits and a 20A at the stage walls. Bigger lighting plan? Send it over and we will talk it through before your day.
Back your grip truck or van up to the dock. It is truck-height (4 ft) with an 8×10 ft door at the rear of the building, and gear rolls straight onto the soundstage. No stairs, no freight elevators, no narrow hallways.
Shoots & setups
04 questionsYes. The stage is sound-treated for clean production audio and holds multi-camera podcast setups with room to light them properly. Guests get a green room, a lounge, and parking at the door. See the podcast studio page.
Yes. The 45 × 40 ft floor takes set builds and choreography, the grid holds your rig at 13.5 ft, and keyless 24-hour access covers overnight shoots. See the music video studio page.
Yes. Commercial, corporate, and branded content productions get the building to themselves: one production per day, a client lounge for reviews, and a green room for talent. See the commercial studio page.
Yes. The 25×25 ft pre-lit cyc is the main photo backdrop, and the house lighting and grip package is included in the rate. Lookbooks, e-commerce, editorial, and portraits all shoot on the same floor. See the photo studio page.
