What comes with the studio.
Viva Studio Rentals is a 4,500 sq ft private production facility at 777 The Queensway in Etobicoke, Toronto. Its 2,000 sq ft sound-treated soundstage has a 45 × 40 ft floor. The facility also has a truck-height dock with an 8×10 ft door.
The stage is sound-treated, not soundproof. Ten sound blankets are included. Dialogue and live-audio requirements should be assessed during a Tech Scout. We book one production per day with full and undivided use of the facility during its booked window.
The studio is staffed Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Confirmed productions can arrange early, late, weekend, and overnight access, with direct access to a studio and equipment manager.
Bring the lighting plan, equipment list, and department heads to the free Tech Scout. We will review the room, grid, load-in, and technical requirements before the production day.

Viva Camera rents cinema cameras, lenses, lighting, and grip out of the same address. Studio clients receive 25% off, and all additional equipment is billed separately.
How much does a Toronto film studio rental cost?
Before HST, Viva Studio Rentals costs $450 for 3 hours, $750 for 6 hours, or $1,200 for 12 hours. Every tier includes full and undivided facility use during the booked window, the soundstage, four Aputure Nova P300c lights, six C-Stands, ten sound blankets, apple boxes, tables, chairs, support rooms, parking, WiFi, truck-height load-in, and direct access to a studio and equipment manager. Optional equipment, overtime, and cyc repaints are billed separately.

The grid is at 13.5 ft, and four Aputure Nova P300c lights are included. Confirm project-specific grid use, rigging, and any additional lighting or grip during a Tech Scout.

The booking includes 1,000 sq ft of flex space, a 200 sq ft green room, and a 200 sq ft hair and makeup room.
