What comes with the studio.
The podcast studio at Viva Studios, at 777 The Queensway in Toronto, is sound-treated, not soundproof, and we tell you that up front because your edit will know the difference. Treated walls, full blackout, and the ten sound blankets in the rate keep the room quiet enough that the pause before a good answer stays a pause. Booking is one production per day, so the only voices on your track are the ones you invited.
A closet gives you dead audio and one angle. A video podcast here gets a 45 × 40 ft floor: a wide, singles on each chair, and a reaction camera without anyone shooting a wall. The grid hangs at 13.5 ft with four Aputure Nova P300c space-lights included, iPad-controlled, so your key comes from overhead and the floor stays clean for cameras. Four 15A circuits and a 20A at the stage walls run the cart.
A 200 sq ft green room and a 200 sq ft hair and makeup room hold your guests off set until they walk on camera-ready. Weekdays 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM the studio is staffed; overnights and weekends the building runs keyless, so the episode that only records after everyone gets off work still records.

-
Two chairs, three cameras
The classic interview build: a wide and two singles on the 45 × 40 ft floor, light rigged overhead on the grid at 13.5 ft, stands out of every frame.
-
Panel and talk-show formats
The 25 × 25 ft pre-lit cyc reads as a clean seamless behind a full panel, or dress your own set in front of it. Full blackout, so the panel look you set at noon is still there at midnight.
-
The quiet take
Sound-treated walls and ten sound blankets in the rate for the reflective corners. One production in the building, so there is no other crew’s playback bleeding through the wall.
-
Guests handled properly
Green room and hair and makeup off the stage, plus 1,000 sq ft of flex space for producers, monitors, and the person running the record.
The rate card is the whole bill.
No deposit to hold the date.
