Location, Parking, and Load-In
Compare the address, parking, loading access, travel time, and nearby services the production will actually use.
Viva Studio Rentals is at 777 The Queensway, Unit 1, in Etobicoke. The facility has free on-site parking and a 4 ft truck-height loading dock with an 8 × 10 ft door.
Stage Dimensions and Set Fit
Evaluate the stage floor, ceiling, grid height, and access doors with the set footprint, camera movement, and crew size.

Support Rooms and Separate Costs
Compare the documented studio layout, power, room conditions, parking, support rooms, and separate service costs. Review the studio gallery before the Tech Scout, then confirm any temperature, personnel, or food-service requirement separately.
Viva has a 200 sq ft green room, a 200 sq ft hair and makeup room, 1,000 sq ft of flex space, two kitchens, a client lounge, free parking, WiFi, and a 4 ft truck-height loading dock with an 8 × 10 ft door. Cameras, lenses, additional lighting, and grip are available separately through Viva Camera at a fixed 25% studio-client discount.
Cyc and Camera Fit
Make sure that the planned sets, props, lighting, and camera movement fit the stage dimensions and booking window.
Viva has a 25 × 25 ft pre-lit cyc that is white by default. A floor refresh or full colour repaint, including chroma key green, can be added. Before booking, confirm timing with the studio.
Sound Treatment and Production Audio
Compare acoustic treatment, microphone positions, and production-audio requirements, then test the planned microphones in the room before booking.
Viva’s stage is sound-treated, not soundproof. Use a Tech Scout to assess dialogue or live-audio requirements.
Rates and Booking Windows
The base studio package includes four Aputure Nova P300c lights, six C-Stands, 10 sound blankets, apple boxes, tables, and chairs.
Viva publishes three rates before HST: $450 for 3 hours, $750 for 6 hours, and $1,200 for 12 hours. Compare the complete booked window and the separately billed equipment requirements.
Access and Security Requirements
Verify the exact access window and any production-specific security requirements with the studio before the shoot.
Put the access window, equipment-storage plan, and approved security arrangements on the call sheet.
Crew and Service Boundaries
Assign the producer, camera, lighting, sound, art, and post-production owners before booking the stage.
Viva can refer complete production and crew requests to Viva Media. The studio rental itself does not include those services.
