- Production audio: bring the required crew and equipment, then test the planned microphones in the room.
- Post-production: assign the editor, storage, file formats, colour, effects, sound, reviews, and delivery separately.
Plan the Booking Window
Select the booking window from load-in, setup, tests, the required shot list, changes, approvals, and wrap.
- Three hours: $450 before HST for short, small productions that fit the minimum window.
- Six hours: $750 before HST for productions that need a half-day window.
- Twelve hours: $1,200 before HST and the lowest published hourly rate.
Check the Facility Against the Production Plan
Bring the shot list, set dimensions, lighting list, production-audio plan, equipment list, and load-in requirements before booking.
- Double-check stage fit, support-room use, optional equipment, technical requirements, and the booking window.
- Write down every item that the production must bring, rent, or arrange separately.
- Close the remaining facility and equipment questions before booking.
List each unresolved technical requirement before the Tech Scout.
Book a Tech Scout for Digital Content
During the Tech Scout, mark the set footprint, camera positions, load-in route, support-room assignments, and planned microphone positions.
Send the optional equipment list, crew gaps, and service questions before the Tech Scout so each item can be assigned before booking.
Record the final facility decision and selected booking window. Review the Toronto studio rental.
