Videography planning should separate the studio, equipment, crew, and post-production requirements. Viva Studio Rentals provides the facility, included base package, and manager access. Additional equipment and complete production services are separate.
Review the studio and support spaces before choosing equipment. Viva Studio Rentals includes the soundstage, pre-lit white cyc, four Aputure Nova P300c lights, six C-Stands, and ten sound blankets.
1. Separate the Studio Package From Additional Equipment
The studio booking includes the facility and included studio package. Cameras, lenses, and additional lighting or grip are available separately through Viva Camera and billed separately.
Build the camera, lens, stabilization, media, and accessory list around the shot plan. Confirm current Viva Camera availability for the production dates instead of assuming any item is included with the studio.
2. Mastering Lighting Techniques for Optimal Visual Impact
The base package includes four Aputure Nova P300c lights and six C-Stands. Confirm any additional fixtures, modifiers, and grip separately through Viva Camera.
Plan the lighting setup around the four included Nova P300c fixtures, six C-Stands, the 25 × 25 ft pre-lit white cyc, 18 ft ceiling, and grid at 13.5 ft. Rent any additional fixtures or modifiers separately.
3. Achieving High-Quality Audio for an Immersive Experience
Viva Studio Rentals is a visual production studio with a sound-treated stage. It is not soundproof and does not include a recording package or in-house audio specialist.
The stage is sound-treated, not soundproof. Use a Tech Scout to assess dialogue or live-audio requirements.
4. Post-Production: Video Editing, Colour Grading and Sound Design
Post-production begins after the shoot and is separate from the studio rental.
The production is responsible for its editing, colour grade, and sound design. Clients who need a complete production and crew can be referred to Viva Media.
5. Workflow Management and Collaboration for Streamlined Project Execution
Assign the production’s own team to scheduling, task ownership, media handling, and post-production delivery.
Pre-production planning: Establishing a solid pre-production plan, including arranging logistics, scheduling shooting days, and preparing scripts or shot lists, is vital for a successful video production. Task delegation and communication: Assigning clear responsibilities to team members and maintaining open channels of communication optimizes collaboration and prevents misunderstandings or delays. Post-production scheduling: Allocating sufficient time for post-production tasks – such as video editing, colour grading, and sound design – ensures that your final product is polished and on schedule.
A clear equipment list, lighting plan, audio plan, and post-production handoff make the studio booking easier to execute.
Use a Tech Scout Before Booking
Use the Tech Scout to confirm the stage, base package, load-in, and room conditions. Bring the production crew and post-production team the project requires.
Review the Toronto production studio and contact Viva Studio Rentals to confirm availability or book a Tech Scout. Complete production and crew can be referred to Viva Media.
